The Kodi Coffee Table takes its name from the ancient tomb district at the western tip of Sumba. The top is a full-width suar slab — a single piece 120 × 60 cm retaining one live edge. The four legs are hand-turned Sumba ebony, angled 8° outward to give the table a slightly wider stance than a vertical-leg design.
The height (38 cm) is deliberately low — suited to floor cushions, low lounge seating, or alongside a daybed. For standard sofa height, a 46 cm version is available.
A living room coffee table, a central piece in a villa lounge, a bedside surface in a room with a low platform bed. The suar top is wide enough to hold a tray, books, and a plant without feeling cluttered.
Suitable for interior use. The slab is kiln-dried and will not warp under normal indoor conditions. See wood care guide.

Live-edge suar slab finished in natural beeswax. The top is kilned and stabilised — natural voids are filled with clear epoxy. The grain is wide and warm; colouring ranges from gold to light brown depending on the slab.
Four hand-turned ebony legs, angle-bored and dry-fitted into the underside of the slab. Each leg is a single piece of Diospyros celebica, air-dried 18 months. Near-black finish, no coating applied.
Re-wax the suar top once or twice per year. Buff in natural beeswax, leave overnight. Wipe up spills promptly — suar is porous. Avoid hot vessels. See wood care guide.
Wipe ebony legs with a dry cloth. No treatment needed. If scratched, buff with 400-grit sandpaper along the grain.
