Wungu pieces are made in our workshop in Waingapu, using teak, suar, and ebony from certified Sumba forestry. Each joint is hand-cut; no compressed wood, no veneers, no filler.

About the Craft

Material

Teak, suar, ebony, and bamboo from Sumba's certified forestry programs. We work only with what grows here.

Time

Most pieces require 4–8 weeks from order to delivery. Good furniture cannot be rushed. We do not hold stock.

Place

Made entirely in Waingapu. Our workshop employs twelve craftspeople from the local community. No outsourcing.
